National Youth Week Youth Bazaar, Palmerston - 10 April 2010

Party Safe kicked off 2010 at the Youth Bazaar at Palmerston Recreation Centre as part of local National Youth Week activities. More than 300 young people visited the marquee to take part in the Vision Goggle activities and learn about the effects of drinking on their driving.

Party Safe was in Katherine for the first time in 2010 with more than 100 music lovers taking a voluntary breath test at this event.

Alice Springs Cup, Alice Springs - 3 May 2010

500 local and interstate punters visited the Party Safe marquee during the day to have a breath test and access information on alternate transport methods available to them.

Darwin's rural show was very popular with families and teenagers frequenting the Marquee to take part in the Vision Goggle activities during the day, and to have a breath test later in the evening.

Australian Sprintcar Championship, Berrimah - 26 & 28 May 2010

Operating at both the launch and the second day of competition, thousands of local and interstate visitors and competitors had the opportunity to visit the Party Safe marquee. Around 700 took advantage of the breath test service and the Vision Goggle activities over 6 hours of operation.

Darwin Cup Day, Darwin Turf Club - 2 August 2010

Two marquees operated at Party Safe's largest event, the Darwin Cup. Thousands of revellers accessed information on alternate ways to get home and took a voluntary breath test, whilst many left their vehicles behind in the overnight carpark security provided for peace of mind.

Lions Beer Can Regatta, Mindil Beach - 8 August 2010

Over 8 hours of operation, Party Safe engaged with 300 people who took advantage of the breath testing service and accessed information on the effects of drinking on their driving.

Darwin North Rodeo, Berrimah - 14 August 2010

The family-friendly rodeo gave Mums and Dads the opportunity to have a breath test and make informed decisions when deciding whether or not to drive home. Approximately 200 people visited the marquee during five hours of operation.

Alice Springs Henley-on-Todd, Alice Springs - 21 August 2010

The Party Safe marquee attracted hundreds of local and interstate visitors who were interested to see what their blood alcohol reading would be. 7 hours of operation saw over 100 breath tests completed and many more accessing information on how alcohol affects their ability to drive.
