Find everything you need to know about our insurance products, including the Product Disclosure Statements (PDS), Key Fact Sheets (KFS), Premium, Excess, Discount and Options Guides (PED) and Target Market Determinations (TMD).
A Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) explains what you are and are not covered for, what are insured events, any applicable claim limits, all policy exclusions, and the claims process. The PDS is designed to help you decide if an insurance product is what you need. There may also be a Supplementary PDS (SPDS) included with the PDS which updates the PDS. For example, an SPDS may be provided that replaces the Duty of Disclosure with the Duty to take reasonable care not to make a misrepresentation.
A Key Facts Sheet (KFS) provides a summary of some of what a Home or Landlord policy covers or not. The KFS sets out some of the events that are covered and not covered. For full details of the conditions, limits and exclusions on all our cover options please refer to the Product Disclosure Statement.
A Premium, Excess, Discount and Options Guide (PED) provides information about how premiums are calculated, what discounts can be applied to your premiums and how it is applied, when certain excesses need to be paid following certain claims and the options available under your policy. A PED is available for Car Insurance, Home Insurance and Landlord Insurance.
A Target Market Determination (TMD) describes the class of customers for which the products described in a PDS have been designed for, including the key attributes of those products and the customers who are eligible for it. A TMD does not replace the terms and conditions, nor the disclosures made, in a PDS. You should continue to refer to the PDS before deciding to purchase an insurance cover.
